ESSAY (Question n°4)
For decades, humans use natural resources for their development. Today, we pay for this exploitation. Human lifestyle are responsible of many effects on environment: global warming, climate change, depletion of Ozone layer, deforestation, pollution, extinction of species… With depleting resources of nature, certain ways to save the environment have to be formulated. But who can do something to save the planet: people or governments? This essay will discuss this issue. Firstly, during years, people doesn’t pay attention to the environment in spite of scientists warning of a global warming and its consequences in the future. Now, my feeling is that more and more people are awakening to the fact that their survival depends on the well-being of the environment. However, certain persons are always “blind” facing environmental degradation. Ones like their comfort and they don’t want to change their habits. The others might think that saving the environment is the duty of governments or they are still skeptical. I believe they are wrong about that. A part of global warming have been man-made and we must accept responsibility for that. It is true that it would be difficult actually to leave without technology (phones, computers, cars…) and the sources of our life in general. We are very dependent on it. Nevertheless, from my point of view, it is not a real reason and there are countless things that one can do in our own ways which will ensure that the pressure on the environment is lessened. It is not necessary to make drastic changes in our lifestyle. For example, we can recycle as much as possible (composting, paper…) or reuse some...
