Disney Channel gave a young, teenage girl a chance to shine and become a star, and that is exactly what she did. In 2006, the television show Hannah Montana aired for the first time. Its main character was a young lady by the name of Miley Cyrus, daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus. She became the hottest new role model for young girls. Miley currently has been acting in rebellious ways to get a very dominate point across, that no matter what, be you, do not care what people think of you; should Miley be allowed to act in the ways she has just to get a point across to teenagers? For instance, Miley came out with her first hit single in a long time titled “We Can’t Stop” in 2013. It became a huge hit and everyone everywhere was singing along with Miley; shortly, after her song came out, she let her music video out to the song. In some people’s views and opinions it was very vulgar, and uncalled for. She showed off her new and older image that definitely was not the “Hannah Montana” everyone knew and loved. Parents started not allowing their children to view her ways. Obviously, again she was trying to get people to talk and get attention, and that is exactly what she did. The television station MTV aired the 2013 Video Music Awards Miley, was lined up as one of the performers. She sang “We Can’t Stop” and wore exposing clothing along with dancing on and with props that sent out a message of vulgarity. The next day she was what people were talking about. Nobody agreed with how she acted, but it did not matter because she did not care what people thought. All she wanted was for people to talk once again and to get a point across to young people that it does not matter what people say, be who you are and do not care what think of you. Some reviews thought that Miley was portraying the wrong image for viewers and bashed her for the way she dressed. As a result of this, Miley did not let this bring her down; she still acted and dressed the way she wanted...
