Children’s Moral Upbringing
I have decided to choose the topic of the teaching of morals to children and the importance of morals. I also will give several example supporting my views and beliefs on this topic. Then will give two very different but in a way objectively similar philosophers beliefs of this topic and state their arguments.

Most children nowadays have several ways for them to learn morals. If you would look at most of today’s youth they look up to adult figures such as older brothers, sisters, parents, cousins, etc.… it is vital that todays you learn the importance of moral for the challenges of the future ahead of them and shortly to come. One of the biggest influences could be a favorite teacher. I was taught my morals by and through my parents without them I have no idea how I would have turned out. One of the most preposterous things I have experienced is the fact that some children are allowed by their parents to drink heavily at an alarmingly young age. There also have been times where I have seen parents allowing their children to do drugs. If the parents are letting their children do that at that age what else are they letting them do? Aristotle says that one only in extreme circumstances that the individual should be thought of and taken care of first and if it happens that we are to take care of the few them, then and only then should we take care of the few. Mill on the other hand states that we should maximize both quantity and quality of our happiness. This says that it is impossible to figure out or predict the consequences to know what makes oneself happy. One more of the ways our youth use is the use of television but the problem with television. Is that what is on television for the most part isn’t exactly true. This is what fools our youth and can possible make them think that that this is how most people act in real life.
