Animal Farm: a Compare and Contrast on Karl Marx Communist Manifesto

Topic: Research the life of Karl Marx. What were the fundamentals of his Communist Manifesto and how do they compare to the ideas expressed by Old Major in Animal Farm. Animal Farm is a novella written by George Orwell in 1945. This particular story by George Orwell reflects on the events leading up to and during Stalin era in Russia. During the time he wrote, the work of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto was being followed by the Russian leaders, and some of Marx’s ideas can be found in the way George Orwell’s character, Old Major, expresses the way animal’s future should be. Karl Marx is most well kown for writing the Communist Manifesto which became known as one the “world’s most influential political work.” It includes Marxist theories of the nature of societies and politics which was also coauthored by Friedrich Engels. Karl Marx was involved in revolutionary communism through his writing of the Communist Manifesto. Marx’s main goal for communism was that it would help fulfill people’s needs and also give them back a fair share of everything. Communism would completely abolish class systems and everyone would have equal wellfares. He believed that capitalism, the main economic system, could lead to destructions to an ideal society. He also believed that capitalism would replace itself with socialism and socialism would lead to classless societies which would be an idyllic communist society. Marx said people needed to understand the basics of different socioeconomic systems and change our capitalistic ways and this change could happen through organized revolution by international working class. Marx wrote all his beliefs into the Communist Manifesto which was divided into an introduction, three sections, and a conclusion. The introduction consists of Marx and Engels believes the governments of Europe should be communist, and also offers advices how the European communists should follow their causes and believed that communists...
